You’re a very busy person:
You have little time to add a weekly scheduled therapy appointment to your already hectic life.

You want to feel better, sooner:
You feel as if something is off, and you’re seeking transformation, without wasting time on small talk.

Traditional weekly therapy isn’t working for you:
The traditional model of weekly psychotherapy is no longer meeting your needs.

You need flexibility:
Now more than ever, we need flexibility in how we get support.

EMDR Intensives are the solution
These are personalized treatment plans that:

  • Allow you to skip the waitlist

  • Offer faster access to select appointment spots

  • Support your preferred schedule and timeline

  • Help you reach your treatment goals more efficiently

You’re seeking deeper, more concentrated healing

Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t the right fit for your needs, schedule, or goals. You may be carrying experiences that feel unresolved, patterns that keep repeating, or stress and trauma that continue to impact your relationships, work, and overall well-being. Intensive therapy offers the opportunity to engage in focused, intentional work designed to create meaningful progress in a shorter period of time.

Using evidence-based approaches, including EMDR therapy, intensives provide space for deeper healing—not simply managing symptoms, but addressing the roots of distress while supporting nervous system regulation and lasting change.

You’re in the right place.

EMDR intensives can help you accomplish in one session what may take months in traditional therapy.

What is an intensive?

An intensive is an extended therapy session designed to provide more focused time for healing than is typically possible in a traditional 50–60 minute appointment. Intensives may range from a half-day to a full-day experience and are tailored to your unique goals, allowing us to address concerns with greater depth, continuity, and intention.

Intensives are often a good fit for individuals seeking accelerated progress, those with demanding schedules, or those who feel ready to focus on a specific issue, life event, or trauma experience. Using evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, intensives create space for meaningful work, helping clients move beyond symptom management and toward deeper, lasting healing.

1

Pre-Intensive Assessment

Before your intensive, we will meet for a comprehensive assessment and planning session to better understand your history, goals, current concerns, and readiness for deeper work. This process helps us identify the most important areas to focus on, develop a personalized treatment plan, and ensure you have the resources and support needed to feel safe and prepared.

2

Intensive
Session

Your intensive session is a dedicated block of time designed to allow for deeper, more focused healing without the interruptions of traditional weekly therapy. Using evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, we will work collaboratively to address the experiences, beliefs, patterns, or challenges that are contributing to your distress, while moving at a pace that supports both healing and nervous system regulation.

3

Post-Intensive Follow-Up

Healing does not end when the intensive is over. Following your intensive, we will meet to review your experience, process insights, assess progress, and discuss recommendations for continued growth and integration. This follow-up helps ensure that the work completed during your intensive translates into meaningful and lasting change in your everyday life.

Other intensive questions? I’ve got answers.

  • EMDR helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that may be contributing to present-day distress, anxiety, or unhealthy patterns. Using bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain's natural healing process, allowing painful memories to become less overwhelming and helping you move forward with greater resilience and freedom.

  • Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives provide extended, uninterrupted time for focused healing and deeper therapeutic work. This concentrated format often allows clients to make meaningful progress in a shorter period of time while maintaining momentum throughout the process.

  • Intensives are often a good fit for individuals who are ready to focus on a specific concern, want to make progress more quickly, have busy schedules, or feel stuck despite previous therapy. A pre-intensive assessment helps determine whether this format is appropriate for your needs and goals.

  • Intensives can be helpful for trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, performance blocks, and patterns that seem difficult to change. They are designed to address the root causes of distress while supporting lasting healing and growth.

  • Prior to your intensive, you will complete intake paperwork and participate in a planning session to identify goals and areas of focus. You may also be asked to complete reflection exercises or questionnaires to help maximize the effectiveness of our time together.

  • The first step is scheduling a consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether an intensive is the right fit for you. Together, we will create a personalized plan designed to support meaningful and lasting change.
